Ridding the world of disposable bags, one village at a time
I am responsible for the design, implementation and hosting of the Copmanthorpe Bring Your Bag campaign web site. This group is committed to banishing the disposable plastic bag from their village, and encouraging everyone to use reusable bags instead.
The design brief was
to make a website that would be appear "friendly" and
"community" rather than "corporate". The logo was a
cartoon of a sunflower drawn by a child, so the rest of the site followed
similar simplistic layout and colour scheme.
The implementation is a simple bespoke PHP CMS using Smarty and MySQL.
